One of the things I loved most about the Dougherty family session was how each person wore something that reflected their unique personality. It made the whole shoot feel fun, relaxed, and authentic. And let’s talk about Mama Dougherty’s pink pants for a second—they brought the perfect pop of color to every single photo. Y’all know I looooove me some color, and this session delivered!

A dreamy location with extra magic

We met at the always-stunning Japanese Tea Gardens, one of my favorite spots in San Antonio. Between the lush greenery, stone pathways, and florals, it’s a dreamy little oasis in the heart of the city. The setting paired with this stylish, fun-loving family made for pure photo magic. As a San Antonio TX family photographer, I always tell my clients: wear something that feels like you, but don’t be afraid of bold choices!
