That’s actually my #1 tip for getting great family portraits (or any kind of photos, really): relax and play, play, play! The most memorable kid portraits and family shots happen when you’re just being yourselves. The Kang family totally nailed that vibe. They were up for anything—running, twirling, laughing—and it made for the kind of candid, joy-filled family photos I live for.
