Getting to meet amazing families, hear their stories, and celebrate such an exciting season with them? It never gets old. A double dose of joy

When Shelby reached out to us a few months ago to share the news that she and Derek were expecting twins, I was instantly giddy. There’s just something extra special about photographing a family that’s about to grow by not one—but two!—sweet babies. And when they found out they were having two little girls? We knew we had to find the perfect backdrop to match their excitement.

Of course, we made a stop at the iconic pink walls in San Antonio’s Market Square. The vibrant colors, the energy, the celebration of culture—it all felt like the perfect reflection of this joyful chapter in their lives. Shelby absolutely glowed, and the love between her and Derek was so genuine and sweet.
