Maternity photography sessions are in FULL SWING in San Antonio, y’all! Lately, I’ve been photographing all kinds of families—from growing families to seasoned parents and everyone in between. And I’ve got to say, there’s something so magical about capturing that in-between moment when two people are about to become three. Cue the confetti—because Julie and Ben’s San Antonio maternity session was everything I love about maternity photography and more!

A road trip, a pop of color, and a baby girl on the way

Julie and Ben made the trip all the way from Dallas to San Antonio just for their maternity photo session, and I was so honored to capture this exciting milestone for them. They’re expecting their very first baby (a sweet baby girl—yay!) and they chose one of my all-time favorite spots for their pregnancy portraits: the vibrant, colorful Market Square in downtown San Antonio.

Market Square was the perfect match for their energy—bright, joyful, and full of life. We ran around, we laughed, we found the best backdrops, and made some magic. As a San Antonio maternity photographer, moments like this are what I live for: real connection, a gorgeous location, and that unmistakable glow of parents-to-be.

When clients feel like friends

One of the sweetest parts? Julie and Ben are long-time friends of our longtime clients (and forever faves!) Victoria and Matt—who we’ve photographed through every chapter of life. Getting to meet new people through past clients is the heart of this business, and I’m so grateful.
