I met this sweet couple 5 years ago when they got married, and I was so excited to catch up with them to celebrate their anniversary! (Side note: I can’t believe half a decade has passed already!) We were lucky enough to get a bright, sunny spring day for their session… annnnnd we were just in time to catch of spring flowers. Five years later, these two are still head-over-heels for each other, which makes them super easy (and super fun) to photograph. 🙂 Here are my favorites!

How they met, in Melissa’s words:
We went on our first date a month after meeting in training for a new job.  I was immediately attracted to ChĂ© but became smitten after the “introduce yourself” ice breaker exercise they always make you do on the first day of class. ChĂ© talked about his little dog named Doggie – a muscle bound brawny man unashamedly gushing about his little chihuahua mix mut of a puppy dog piqued my interest in his heart as much as I was already interested in his handsome face. I didn’t waste any time letting ChĂ© know I liked him which he says he appreciated because although he thought I was pretty, was too shy to make a first move.
