Jillian + Colin • San Antonio, Texas
It’s no secret that this pandemic has had a huge effect on the wedding industry. Couples that were originally planning large weddings have had to rearrange all of their plans, and most of them (like Jillian + Colin) have ended up having to plan 2 entirely different weddings. Jillian + Colin’s original plan involved lots of family and friends surrounding them on their big day, but Covid did what Covid does and flipped the script at the last minute. Instead, they planned a teeny-tiny micro wedding at Hotel Emma here in San Antonio. Their full guest list included: Their officiant, their two witnesses, and me. Oh, annnnd LOTS of friends/family on Zoom!
In the end, their wedding day, though not what they originally planned, ended up being exactly what a wedding should be… two people celebrating the fact that they’re going to spend the rest of their lives together. Their ceremony was the SWEETEST and we had a ton of time to run around and take some incredible wedding photos at Hotel Emma. Jillian + Colin, thank you for allowing me to capture these moments! I was honored to be a part of your wedding. Here are my favorites from their big day. Enjoy! 🙂
PS – I’d also like to give a special shout out to Jillian’s jump suit! 😀 Jillian was our first jump-suit bride, and I gotta say… I am LOVING this trend. She rocked it!!
