As a San Antonio baby and newborn photographer, one of my absolute favorite parts of the job is getting to photograph couples I’ve worked with before—especially when I’ve captured their engagement or wedding. There’s something so full-circle and special about watching their love story grow, and being invited to document the next chapter is such an honor.

A sweet surprise from dad

When Joey reached out to gift Caitlin a San Antonio newborn session, I COULD NOT WAIT to meet their little man, Owen. (And yes, I know I sound like a broken record, but seriously—the best part of my job is the people I meet and the relationships we build over time.)

Older newborns are magic too

While we typically photograph newborns within the first two weeks of life, Owen was just about 2 months old—and he totally rocked his session! At that age, babies start showing a little more personality, and Owen gave us so many sweet expressions. He even fell asleep for a bit, which meant we still got a few of those classic snuggly, sleepy newborn photos too.

A session full of love

There’s nothing like seeing new parents absolutely glowing with love for their baby, and Caitlin and Joey were no exception. Their connection, the way they looked at Owen, the joy in their home—it was all just beautiful to witness and capture.
