A Family photoshoot with a newborn is probably one of my favorite things in the entire world. It’s everything I love about photography — sweet snuggles, tiny toes, and big sibling excitement — all wrapped up into one perfect family photo session.

Elizabeth and Keith are one of our original #BTLcouples — we photographed their wedding way back in 2008, and now here we are taking newborn and family photos as they welcome baby number THREE. I mean… talk about a full-circle moment. 😭

A Family of Five (And So Much Love)

Their girls, Molly and Ruthie, were SO excited to meet their baby brother, Little John Duncan. Watching them dote on him during our family and newborn session made my heart melt. We did this shoot as an in-home newborn photography session here in San Antonio, which made everything feel extra cozy and real — just how I like it!

As a San Antonio newborn photographer, sessions like this remind me why I love what I do. It’s not just about the photos (though yes, they’re adorable), it’s about freezing these wild, beautiful, fleeting moments in time.
